Tammy is doing well after surgery. She is quite tired, but is fully lucid, and talking. She is swallowing water with modest discomfort. She is doing well enough to complain about the leg squeezers used to prevent clots, why a second stupid IV has to be in , etc...
All in all, a good & encouraging day.

ReplyDeleteGreat to hear that she is up to complaining, it's a good sign! I remember those socks..they do sucketh. And so does the first IV let alone the second. Being on thyroid medication myself and the ups and downs with the dose, glad she will not have to do that! I never heard of cancer of the tonsil- it sounds like this is not an aggresive cancer. You are in my prayers. If you need anything like your son taken care of for a few hours, while you visit her in the hospital, just ask.
